Let me begin by saying we are not biased in any way for, or against drilling for natural gas. I urge all of you to remain open-minded while reading or contributing to this blog.
Our purpose is to ensure first and foremost that our planet, our County, and our natural resources are protected.
Our mission is a simple one;
To unite as a community and demand that our health and environment not be exploited for profit.
As a group, PCCCRD stands for the following:
- Educating ourselves and the Public about the potential hazards that arise from drilling.
- Oversight and regulation of the fracturing or "fracking" process.
- Ensuring that our water supplies and local environments are not compromised by the fracturing process.
- Attending meetings and voicing our opinions.
